Knights Brown Limited is a winner at the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2017.

We have achieved the prestigious President’s Award (11 consecutive Golds) in the annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The award will be presented during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday 12 July 2017. The award was achieved during a special year, as family-safety charity RoSPA, celebrates its centenary.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards are now in their 61st year.

HSQE Manager, Olav Lawrence, said: “It is great news that we have been able to maintain our excellent record, achieving the prestigious President’s Award for our 11th consecutive gold medal. Receiving recognition for the hard work we put into constantly improving our occupational health and safety performance is most rewarding.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”
