    SITE ENGINEER - South East

    We are currently wishing to recruit a site engineer to join our South East Division. Working out of our office in Rochester, the successful applicant will be based on sites in south east England.

    Reporting to our contracts manager, you will be responsible for dimensional accuracy and the control of construction operations such that our contracts are delivered effectively, on time and safely.

    The role includes:

    • Working in full consideration of health and safety, quality, and environmental practices and leading by example on our projects.
    • Understanding project requirements and disseminating setting out information to the site team in a concise manner.
    • Checking accuracy of construction operations.
    • Producing risk assessments and method statements.
    • Producing short term programmes.
    • Proactively resolving any ambiguities in advance of operational activity.
    • Maintaining good records.
    • Ensuring compliance with test and inspection plans.
    • Understanding contractual requirements and finding the most efficient solutions commercially.

    You will be an integral part of the site team. As an experienced engineer with sound technical knowledge, you will be accurate, team-focused, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels.

    We will fully support the successful candidate in actively working towards membership of the ICE as required.
