General Foreman - South East Division

We currently wish to recruit a general foreman within our South East Division.

Working with the divisional team from our Rochester office, the role will be based on site at Gatwick Airport. A CRB check will be necessary.

The role will be responsible for leading our directly employed workforce and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively and on time.

The role includes:

• Proactively managing site operations
• Working with the site team, contributing to the effective planning, programming and resourcing of operations
• Ensuring adherence to company procedures including those set out in method statements, permits, etc and proactively seeking to improve safety, quality and to minimise waste.

As an integral part of the site team, this role will support others in developing and fulfilling their responsibilities.

With a proven track record working within civil engineering, you will have experience of successfully delivering projects with a direct workforce. The successful candidate will be team-focused with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people at all levels.

This is a permanent position; site hours 7.30am-5.30pm.
