We wish to recruit two apprentice groundworkers to join our Port of Dover Framework team.
You will join our Civil Engineering Apprenticeship, delivered at the Civil Engineering Training Centre by Fareham College. The apprenticeship is designed for those starting out on their careers and career changers, to enable them to join the construction industry.
Through the apprenticeship you will develop the skills needed to work on our construction sites, while being paid a wage and gaining a recognised qualification.
On completion of the 20-week college based programme, you will join our framework team in Dover, where your training will continue for the remainder of the two year apprenticeship, while you get qualified. On achieving your qualification, you will be offered a permanent position.
The next intake at Fareham College is January 2024. In the interim there is the opportunity to start as a trainee prior to joining the January apprenticeship intake.
Accommodation/travel arrangements will be discussed and agreed with you as required.
