Since 2009, Knights Brown has been successfully delivering foundations for Enercon Gmbh throughout the UK. In 2018 we further extended this relationship to include the Republic of Ireland. To date we have completed over 200 wind turbine foundations as part of this framework.
One of the key success criteria’s for this framework is Knights Brown’s ability to deliver anywhere within the UK, our ability to mobilise quickly and the professional standard of our workmanship.
All of our projects are delivered in a joined up and collaborative approach and are supported by our carefully selected and approved supply chain, who operate in line with our company culture to deliver projects ‘right first time’ and to the highest standard and quality.
Our long term relationship has been established as a result of our straightforward approach to construction, our lean management structure, excellent working relationships and high standard of project delivery.
Each project we deliver for Enercon requires a different approach or construction technique, depending on the site constraints and requirements.
There are a large number of Enercon foundation designs which can be implemented on a scheme and some contain site specific design requirements such as piles or soil replacement. As a company we have experience of constructing foundations for the following foundation types:
