Knights Brown was appointed as main contractor to construct a new club for private members located in the heart of Brighton.

The site is based in a prominent location on Brighton’s seafront surrounded by an array of popular tourist attractions such as the Brighton Sea Life Centre, Brighton Pier, Brighton Zip Line and the famous Volks Victorian Electric Railway.

To construct the new building over the existing structure, Knights Brown proposed a lightweight timber and steel composite cassettes flooring system. This slotted into the steel structure as it was being erected saving time on the programme and in lieu of a more time-consuming traditional timber floors construction.
