This time last month we were taking delivery of eight new Case excavators. This week we have had three new Thwaites 10t dumpers, delivered. Come January, when we are expecting a 13t Hitachi excavator, Knights Brown’s total investment in new plant will be close to £1m as we continue to expand our growing fleet of plant.
The dumpers, which are a new addition to our plant fleet, were branded in our Ringwood yard and in the sunshine, look very smart and ready for business.
The eight Case excavators comprised five 20t and three 8t machines, which went straight to work on contracts within our Southern Division.
We chose the excavators very carefully to make them as safe and comfortable for our operators as they can be. The higher specification includes additional hydraulic circuits to enable the use of all types of attachment and additional safety and comfort features such as air suspension seats, fully adjustable control pods, side mounted and rear mounted safety cameras and full hand rail systems, on the larger machines.
All our manufacturers have been chosen for their environmental credentials and all machines come with the latest green technology engines, fuel economy, extensive dealer support and potential for good residual values.
