Knights Brown has taken delivery of eight new Case excavators – five 20t and three 8t machines. This is part of a plant investment of approximately £1m, which will include three Thwaites 10t site dumpers, due for delivery next month, and a 13t Hitachi excavator, expected in January 2018. All the excavators are replacing existing machines while the dumpers are additions to our plant fleet.

The delivered machines have gone straight to work on contracts within the Southern Division.

All the excavators are of higher specification to standard with additional hydraulic circuits to enable the use of all types of attachment available to help our site teams complete their tasks. They come with additional safety and comfort features such as air suspension seats, fully adjustable control pods, side mounted and rear mounted safety cameras and full hand rail systems on the larger machines.

The manufacturers were chosen for their environmental credentials and all machines come with the latest green technology engines, fuel economy, extensive dealer support and potential for good residual values. They represent a significant investment in our business and our workforce who operate and care for them.
